Baxter Healthcare are a leading Medical Device manufacturer with a portfolio of diagnostic, critical care, nutrition, kidney care, hospital and surgical products and solutions. Cleanliness is a key pillar to the operation of their UK site with a fleet of over 60 machines.
Baxter Healthcare UK was having issues with their previous industrial cleaning contractor with issues consisting of large service contract spend occurring, whereby machines were left inoperable (not working/out of service/ awaiting repair) with no clear communication and updates provided to the status of these machines or timescales for them to be up and running. Baxter Healthcare UK would also receive invoices for unknown machines – nothing to identify what was happening with each machine or what machines had been repaired.

Within one site visit the entire cleaning machinery fleet at Baxter Healthcare UK was able to be evaluated for operational status and the three-tier accountability system was implemented. The entire workforce is now able to know the status of any machine on site, while management can assess each asset at any given time through the online portal allowing for clarity on work that has been carried out on each machine including labour and parts, enabling the ability to run cost analysis.
