CSA was founded by Dezmond Russell

CSA Industrial Cleaning Equipment embarked on its journey in 1977, marking the inception of a dedicated presence in the industrial and commercial cleaning machinery sector.

JTT Founded

Jennifer and Thomas Townsend, established JTT Equipment Services, a specialised business focused on supplying cleaning machinery. Offering a range of products from industrial-grade vacuum cleaners to high-pressure washers.

Tony Russell Purchased CSA from Dezmond Russell

Building on Dezmond Russell’s legacy, Tony Russell acquired CSA, marking the transition to the second generation of the Russell family to own and manage CSA.

EAGLE Founded

Eagle Distribution was established to streamline the importation of machinery for CSA, sourcing equipment from reputable suppliers throughout Europe and bringing it into the UK.

MR into the business

With a solid background in mechanics and a deep-seated enthusiasm for business, Michael Russell joined CSA to gain insights into the company and immerse himself in the family enterprise.

MR Purchased Eagle

After two years of gaining in-depth knowledge and understanding of the business, Michael Russel embarked on his journey as a business owner by acquiring Eagle Distribution.

MR Purchased CSA

Having acquired Eagle Distribution and dedicated five years to thoroughly understanding every aspect of the business, Michael Russell progressed to purchase CSA from Tony Russell, signifying the advent of the third generation of Russell family leadership at CSA.

MR Purchased JTT

In 2021, Jennifer and Thomas Towning, seeking retirement and wishing to entrust their business to another family-oriented owner, offered Michael Russell the chance to acquire JTT Equipment Services.

Combined all 3 into Motion

Michael Russel, leveraging the synergy between Eagle Distribution, CSA Cleaning, and JTT Equipment Service, merged these entities to form a unified company called Motion, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the business.
