This past Saturday marked a special day for the Motion family as we came together for our 3rd annual summer BBQ. It’s a tradition we’ve grown to cherish—a day where our team members and their families gather to connect, socialize, and have some fun outside of the usual work environment.
The BBQ has always been more than just a company event; it’s an opportunity to strengthen the bonds that make our team so unique. There’s something special about finally putting faces to the names we hear and talk about daily. It’s a chance for our families to meet the people we spend so much of our time with, making our work-life connections even stronger.
The atmosphere was perfect, with delicious food sizzling on the grill, refreshing drinks in hand, and a variety of lawn games adding to the entertainment. The weather was on our side too, with sunny skies and a gentle breeze setting the stage for a relaxed and enjoyable day.
This year, we decided to take the fun up a notch by adding a bouncy castle to the mix. It was an instant hit, not just with the kids but with the adults too! There’s something about a bouncy castle that brings out the child in all of us, and it certainly added an extra layer of joy to the event.
As the day wound down and the sun began to set, it was clear that this year’s BBQ was a success. The laughter, the conversations, and the shared moments created memories that will last until we gather again next year.
